Scope of Applications
Construction Industry
Mantoplate and its derivatives stand out from all the thermal insulation, soundproofing and acoustic correction products on the market.
Rock wool, wood fiber, cellulose blankets, expanded polystyrene, polyurethane… All these materials can achieve one or two objectives: attractive price, effective thermal insulation, mechanical resistance, ecological character… but they always have negative counterparts: irritants in installation, thermal bridges, complexity of application, significant thickness, impermeability to water vapor, among others.
Mantoplate concentrates all the positive points: it is a top quality thermal and acoustic insulator, ecological, “breathable”, reflective, fireproof, refractory, and all this without any negative counterparts.
Whether for new construction or renovation, Mantoplate and its derivatives adhere to any substrate without the need for primer or glue, and do not require drilling or joints, thus guaranteeing the total absence of thermal bridges and, consequently, no loss of heat or cold, depending on the environment in which it is applied.

A layer of just 1 centimeter of Mantoplate is enough to guarantee effective insulation. The temperature of the room where it is applied is not affected by the outside environment, so that in the event of intense heat or extreme cold, the room benefits from an adequate ambient temperature.
Versatility of Application
Unlike other existing insulating solutions, Mantoplate can be applied to the exterior of any surface (stone, concrete, glass, brick, etc.) or to the interior, maintaining the same energy performance regardless of the method of application.
Additional Benefits
The presence of honeycomb stone in its composition means that the building where it is applied is not subject to the risk of indoor pollution, mold or fungus that can harm the health of the occupants, since it regulates the humidity of the ambient air and purifies it thanks to its photocatalytic action.
Its resistance to fire and the spread of heat makes it a perfect ally for ecological wooden constructions.
Physical and Chemical Properties
- Breathable, hydrophobic and water permeable
- Ideal material in additive construction (3D printing) for leveling uneven surfaces in these new constructions
- Unlike materials such as glass wool, it is not subject to colonization by rodents or insects, preserving the latter, and access to the applied areas is inviolable
Durability and Protection
Mantoplate and its derivatives have a long service life, guaranteeing long-term protection. They are insensitive to acid rain and other acids and, with a low thickness, protect surfaces against cracks and crevices.
Acoustic Insulation and Correction
Mantoplate is the ideal solution for:
- Acoustic insulation (sound absorption): protects against noise from outside a room.
- Acoustic correction: reduces sound reverberation inside the room by applying to walls, ceilings or floors.
Impact Noise
Against airborne noise (voice, radio, TV) or noise from common building equipment (boiler, elevator), the only solution often used is to reinforce the walls by installing single or double walls.
Advantages of Mantoplate
Mantoplate helps to counteract impact noise and propagated noise. A thickness of 1 cm offers 18 dB of sound absorption.
Its properties make it as elastic as glass or stone wool, without losing any surface area.
The absorption coefficient of Mantoplate and its derivatives, due to its porous structure, is equal to or greater than that of glass wool, membranes or mid-frequency resonators at low frequencies.
Acoustic Improvement
In this way, Mantoplate corrects acoustics by limiting the propagation of sound in the room where it is applied, reducing sound reverberation in the walls, controlling the noise level, improving hearing quality and speech intelligibility.
Applied in recording studios, nightclubs and concert halls, it offers extraordinary acoustic insulation and correction, without altering or damaging the quality of the propagated sound.
